JINAN,April25(Xinhua)--JinanCity,thecapitalofeastChina"sShandongProvince,hashandledover2,500China-EuropefreighttraintripssincetheservicestartedinAugust2017,accordingtoapressconferenceTuesday.

Morethan2.2-million-tonnecargoworthover3billionU.S.dollarshasbeentransportedthroughthe13routesoftheservice,linkingJinanwith47citiesof20countries,saidlocalauthorities.

Sinceitsinception,theservicehasservedover3,000foreigntradeenterprises,withannualtripsexceeding800.

AccordingtotheChinaStateRailwayGroupCo.,Ltd,thenumberofChina-Europefreighttrainservicessurgedby15percentyearonyearto4,186tripsinthefirstquarteroftheyear.
