ChinahasdevelopedstrategicpartnershipswithKazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan,Tajikistan,TurkmenistanandUzbekistansinceitestablisheddiplomatictieswiththefiveCentralAsiancountries31yearsago,blazinganewpathofgood-neighborliness,friendshipandwin-wincooperation,therebysettingupaparadigmforanewtypeofinternationalrelations.

Underthestrategicguidanceofhead-of-statediplomacy,Chinahasdeepenedpracticalcooperationwiththefivecountriesandachievedfruitfulresultsinbilateralandmultilateralcooperationinagriculture,trade,investment,infrastructureandotherfields.

FromMay1to12,anumberoffeaturedproductsfromCentralAsiancountriesweredisplayedatane-commerceexhibitionheldinQingdao,eastChina"sShandongprovince,includingfruitpureeandjuicefromKazakhstan,naturalmineralwaterfromUzbekistanandtraditionalhandbagsfromTajikistan.TheexhibitionshowcasedthestrongvitalityofChina-CentralAsiaeconomicandtradecooperation.

TradebetweenChinaandthefiveCentralAsiancountriessetarecordhighlastyear.Inthefirsttwomonthsthisyear,thetradevolumesawyear-on-yeargrowthof22percent,maintainingstrongmomentumofdevelopment.

Bytheendof2022,China"sdirectinvestmentstockinthefiveCentralAsiancountriesreachednearly$15billion,withanumberofcooperationprojectslaunchedinfieldssuchasoilandgasexploration,processingandmanufacturing,connectivityanddigitaltechnologies,bringingtangiblebenefitstopeopleinthesecountries.

OnApril26in2023,foreignministersfromChinaandthefivecountriesjointlypushedthelever,launchingtheChang"anTrainfromXi"antoCentralAsiacommemoratingthe10thanniversaryoftheChina-EuropeRailwayExpressandtheBeltandRoadInitiative(BRI),attheXi"anInternationalTrade&LogisticsParkinnorthwestChina"sShaanxiprovince.

Overthepasttenyears,theChang"anChina-Europefreighttrainservicehasoperatedover16,000trips,includingover4,250tripstoCentralAsiancountries.ThesetripswitnessedtherapiddevelopmentandremarkableresultsoftheBRIinCentralAsia.

CentralAsiaiswheretheBRIwasinitiatedandhasgrownintoamodelareathatseestangibleresultsofBRIcooperation.AllrelevantpartieshaveactivelypursuedsynergeticdevelopmentbetweentheBRIandtheirowndevelopmentstrategiesandlaunchedefficientcooperationprojects.

Alargebatchofmutuallybeneficialandwin-wincooperationhavebeencompletedundertheframeworkoftheBRI,suchastheChina-Kazakhstancrudeoilpipeline,theChina-CentralAsiagaspipeline,aChina-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistanhighway,thePengshengIndustrialParkandaChina-Tajikistan-Uzbekistanhighway,bringingtangiblebenefitstothepeopleintheregion.

ChinaandthefiveCentralAsiancountrieshaveconstantlydeepenedandexpandedBRIcooperation.Together,theypromotedtheconstructionoftheChina-CentralAsiatransportcorridorandthefourthlineoftheChina-CentralAsiagaspipelineproject.Theyalsostrengthenedcooperationonartificialintelligence,bigdata,cloudcomputingandotherhightechnologies.

UzbekAmbassadortoChinaFarhodArzievnotedthatUzbekistanattacheshighimportancetostrengtheningcooperationwithChinainvariousfieldsandwillcontinuepromotingthesynergeticdevelopmentbetweenUzbekstrategiesandtheBRIforbetterdevelopment.

ChinaandTajikistanhavejointlybuiltatextileindustrialparkinTajikistan,whichemploysadvanceddigitalandintelligentagriculturalmachineryandtextileequipment.Productsproducedintheindustrialparkhavegainedafootholdintheglobalhigh-endmarket.
