Thesummitisexpectedtoboostthealready-burgeoningBeltandRoadcooperationbetweenChinaandCentralAsia.OfficialsfromCentralAsiancountriesandglobalobservershavesaidthatdeepenedBeltandRoadcooperationbetweenthetwosideswillbeaboonfortheprosperityofboththeregionandtheworld.

TenyearsintoBeltandRoadcooperation,ChinaandCentralAsiancountrieshavemadehistoricachievements.In2022,tradevolumehitarecordhighof70.2billionU.S.dollars,anover100-foldincreasesincediplomatictieswereestablishedaboutthreedecadesago.Inthefirsttwomonthsofthisyear,tradebetweenChinaandthefiveCentralAsiancountriessurged22percentyearonyear.

TheBeltandRoadInitiative(BRI)hasbeenveryfruitfulsinceitwasfirstproposedbyChinainKazakhstan,saidTimurKuvatov,director-generalandeditor-in-chiefofKazakhstanTodayNewsAgency.

RevivingthevisionsandspiritsembodiedintheancientSilkRoadwillpromoteinternationaldevelopmentandtradeandeconomicties,aswellaspeacefulrelationsamongcountries,hesaid,addingthatdeeperBeltandRoadcooperationhasgreatsignificanceforallthepeoplelivingintheregionandthewholeworld.

In2022,bilateraltradegrew20percentyearonyear,saidtheminister,hopingthatthegoalof10billiondollarsinannualtradesetbybothheadsofstatecouldbeachievedsoon.

NotingthattheChina-Uzbekistancooperationcoverssuchareasaschemical,textile,andoilandgasindustries,KudratovsaidthattensofthousandsofjobshavebeencreatedinUzbekistan.

KudratovsaidthatbycombiningChina"sinnovativetechnologieswithUzbekistan"sresources,thetwocountriescouldimproveenergyefficiencyandmanufactureproductswithhigh-addedvalueforexporttoothercountries.

IntheeyesofLuShanbing,deanoftheCentralAsiaInstituteofNorthwestUniversity,ChinaandCentralAsiancountries"effortstoadvancetheBRIhighlighttheircommitmenttopromotingglobalization.

NotingthattheinterconnectivityfacilitatedbytheBRIhashelpedCentralAsiancountriesstrengthencommunicationswiththeworldandbetterexploittheircomparativeadvantagesintheprocessofglobalization,hesaidtherelationshipbetweenthetwosideshassetabenchmarkformutuallybeneficialcooperationandservedasarolemodelforBeltandRoadcooperation.

BothTajikistanandChinaaremarkingthe10thanniversaryofthelaunchoftheBRI,saidTajikistan"sMinisterofEconomicDevelopmentandTradeZavqizodaZavqi.

"Thankstothesincerefriendshipandwisepoliciesoftheleadersofbothcountries,thecooperationofourcountrieshasimproved,"hesaid,notingthat"Chinahasbecomethethird-largesttradepartnerandthelargestinvestmentpartnerofTajikistan."
