Thelegislationisaclearformofintimidation.AnycompanythathirespeoplefromXinjiangmayfallpreytotheact.Ratherthancombatting"forcedlabor,"thelawactuallyengenders"forcedunemployment"and"forcedpoverty."

Furthermore,ithasalsoattemptedtokickXinjiangoutoftheglobalindustrialandsupplychains,adefacto"forceddecoupling"fromChinathatwilldisruptinternationaleconomicandtradeorders.

Washingtonhasbeenviolatinghumanrightsunderthepretextofprotectinghumanrights,floutingruleswhilepurportingtoupholdthem,andbreakinglawswhilepretendingtosafeguardthem.Suchmovesgoagainstthetrendofthetimesandareultimatelydestinedtofail.
